- Advice to intending purchasers of all classes of agricultural property, including valuation and negotiation
- Valuations - Formal valuations for bank security, capital taxation including Interitence Tax and Capital Gains Tax, divorce settlement and family arrangement purposes, as well as informal valuations relating to potential sale or purchase of property, and stocktaking valuations of live and deadstock
- Estate Management - Establishing and managing tenancies, rent reviews, advice, and representation in dispute resolution for both Agricultural Holdings Act and and Farm Business Tenancies.
- Sale of grazing, mowing and sporting rights, private and commercial shoots.
- Town and Country Planning - Services relating to Agricultural Occupancy Conditions (AOCs), change of use, diversification, rural planning consultancy, enforcement proceedings, appeals, and strategic advice. Charles Clark has personally dealt with many successful applications for the removal of AOCs either by way of a planning application and/or appeal, and through the Certificate of Lawful Use procedure.
- Environmental Schemes - Advice and assistance in establishing and running Entry Level and Higher Level and Countryside Stewardship Schemes
- Compulsory Purchase Schemes - Representing clients, providing advice and negotiation for compensation when subject to compulsory acquisition schemes such as installation of electricity lines (over and underground), pipeline laying and extensions, road widening and bypass schemes.
- Agricultural Policy Reform - Advice on Common Agricultural Policy reform and associated matters including the Single Payment Scheme.
